Aprile 2014, Milano: presentazione del nuovo libro di Dario Fo, premio Nobel per la letteratura, “La figlia del Papa”. Dedicato a Lucrezia Borgia, Nel suo atelier Dario Fo racconta come è nato questo progetto. L’autore scava a fondo nella vita della protagonista analizzando anche il contesto storico e i personaggi secondari della storia. Ne esce un ritratto totalmente diverso dall’immagine che è arrivata al pubblico fino a oggi. Lucrezia Borgia, vista da una nuova prospettiva, appare come una donna che ha il coraggio di opporsi, combatte la corruzione e si rifiuta di essere manipolata. Nel libro ci sono anche trenta illustrazioni create dallo stesso Fo.
April 2014, Milan: Presentation of the new book by Dario Fo, Nobel Prize winner for literature, “The daughter of the Pope.” Dedicated to Lucrezia Borgia, in his atelier Dario Fo explains how this project was born. The author delves deeply into the life of the protagonist as well as analyzing the historical context and the minor characters of the story. What emerges is a portrait totally different from the image that came to the public until today. Lucrezia Borgia, seen from a new perspective, looks like a woman who has the courage to oppose, fights corruption and refuses to be manipulated. In the book there are also thirty illustrations created by Fo himself.
