La Boqueria (in catalano: Mercat de la Boqueria o mercat de Sant Josep) è un mercato di Barcellona. È il mercato più popolare di Spagna e il più grande della Catalogna con i suoi 2.583 metri quadrati e con più di 300 bancarelle. È anche uno fra i mercati più antichi; nato agli inizi del XVII secolo alle porte della città nella piana del Pla della Boqueria (che oggi è una piazzetta di fronte all’attuale mercato) per non pagare le tasse sulle merci, fu inaugurato poi ufficialmente nel 1836 dove si trova tuttora a metà della popolare Rambla, fra il Palazzo della Virreina e il Teatro Liceu.

La Boqueria (in Catalan: Mercat de la Boqueria or Mercat de Sant Josep) is a market of Barcelona. It is the most popular market in Spain and the largest in Catalonia with its 2,583 square meters and with more than 300 stalls. It is also one of the oldest markets; born in the early seventeenth century to the gates of the city in the plain of Pla Boqueria (which today is a small square in front of the current market) for not paying taxes on goods, was opened officially later in 1836 where it still stands in the middle of the popular Rambla, between the Palace of Virreina and the Liceu Theatre.
