In grandi capannoni, su ampie piattaforme vibranti, vengono riprodotte strutture edili in grandezza quasi naturale, che vengono sottoposte a terremoti simulati, per studiarne la resistenza, i danni e le soluzioni tecniche per la realizzazione di case ed infrastrutture a prova di catastrofe.
