The next May 25 Pope Francis will visit Milan. It was organized for him an intense program: grand ceremony in the Cathedral, then it will be at the San Vittore prison, then to the Park of Monza, for a mess that foresees the participation between 600 thousand and one million people and end (where else?) at the San Siro stadium. But the Pope has specifically asked to visit one of those suburbs full of problems that always attract his attention. Said and done: there is one handy, just up the road from Linate airport into the city, is called “The White Houses” of Salomone street, although White has long do not have anything, Today they are somewhat of a dirty gray and stained, and their official name is “Lot 64″. Here once there were the “Minimum Houses” wanted by fascism, was named the district “Trecca” Many older people remember him still; Then, in the early 70′s, were constructed the buildings of today, with roofs lined with asbestos, and since then they have never seen extraordinary maintenance, and even the ordinary, if there ever was, is a distant memory.
