Aldo says 26 x 1 was the code message with which the CNR ordered the general insurrection against the Nazi-fascists in April 1945 in Piedmont, but it is also the name given to the collective that for some years has been taking care of homeless groups in Milan. Two hundred people, half Italians and half foreigners, many children, many elderly people, almost all waiting and on the list for a social housing, have occupied for months a building in Via Oglio, southern outskirts of the city, forced to leave, have moved to Sesto San Giovanni, from where they were evicted in 48 hours by intervention of the mayor, in accordance with the resolutions of the Minister of Interior Salvini. Now they have arrived in a large office tower built in the eighties by Salvatore Ligresti and now owned by Unipol, empty and in disuse for some time.
